Before marketing
Confirm ownership and authority, insurance, mortgage or lease consent, energy performance, licensing and the property's safety and repair position. Arrange required gas, electrical, smoke, carbon-monoxide and other checks through competent people.
Before and during the tenancy
Complete right-to-rent and tenant checks lawfully, protect any tenancy deposit, give prescribed documents, keep accurate records, respond to repairs and respect the tenant's right to quiet enjoyment. Use possession and rent-review processes that apply under the current law.
